Shyam Subramanian

Shyam Subramanian is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Currently serving as a member of the Joint ATS/ CHEST Clinical Practice Committee at the American College of Chest Physicians since April 2020, Shyam Subramanian plays a key role in addressing regulatory matters affecting clinical practices in the U.S. Additionally, Shyam Subramanian holds several leadership positions at Sutter Health, including Section Chief for Specialty Clinics and Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, since February 2015. Shyam Subramanian has contributed to advisory panels for multiple pharmaceutical companies concerning asthma biologics and other pulmonary conditions between 2016 and 2021. Shyam Subramanian obtained an MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Rice University.
