Martin Wegman M.D.

Martin Wegman, MD, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the American College of Emergency Physicians since September 2022 and as an Attending Physician and Research Director at Orange Park Medical Center since August 2021. Wegman completed Emergency Medicine Residencies at UNC Health and Yale New Haven Hospital between July 2020 and June 2021, and June 2018 to June 2020, respectively. Wegman holds both an MD and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Florida, where studies spanned from 2010 to 2018. Additionally, Wegman has participated in notable fellowships and leadership roles, including a Postgraduate Fellowship at Yale University and serving as the National Chair for the Student/Resident Section of the American College of Medical Quality. Early professional experience includes a research fellowship at the University of Malaya and a management internship at VWR Education, demonstrating a strong background in both clinical medicine and research.
