Hannah Wendel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hannah has held various roles at American Conservation Experience, including Senior Director of People Resources and Senior Director of Administration. Hannah has also served as the Program Operations Director for People and the Director of Youth Programming. Hannah has extensive experience in the conservation field, with positions at the Bureau of Land Management and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Additionally, they have worked as an Education Intern for the National Park Service and as a Trip Leader/Counselor for Sanborn Western Camps/Colorado Outdoor Education Center. Hannah's early work experience includes roles as a Lifeguard/Recreational Supervisor at the University of Oregon and as a Community Program Educator for the Crissy Field Center. Hannah also completed an urban planning project for the City of Gresham, focusing on ecologically sustainable waste management.
Hannah Wendel attended the University of Oregon from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Spanish. Hannah'sstudies at the University of Oregon also included Sustainable Design and Policy. In 2008, Hannah Wendel attended the Universidad de Austral and earned a Certificate in Spanish Language and Literature. Hannah later pursued Graduate Studies at the University of Montana from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
