Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee
Adnan Karim, MPA, currently serves as the Vice President of Community Impact at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Adnan was the Managing Director of Human Rights Education at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights from April 2019 to December 2023. Adnan also held various leadership positions at buildOn, including Chief Program Officer for the U.S., where the focus was on empowering urban youth through service and education. Other experience includes serving as Program Associate at Mercy Corps and Program Manager at City Year, where significant work involved coaching, training, and relationship building in educational settings. Adnan began the professional journey as a Book Seller at Books A Million and holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Middle Tennessee State University.
