Sarah Kachinovas

Sarah Kachinovas has extensive experience in conservation and research. Currently serving as the Conservation Crew Lead at the American Conservation Experience since August 2021, Sarah supervises AmeriCorps members in various tasks, including herbicide application, invasive species removal, and trail work. Prior to this role, Sarah was a Conservation Crew Member at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where responsibilities included assisting a graduate student with a research project on soil productivity within different land uses at Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge from January 2018 to August 2021. Sarah holds a degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, attained between 2017 and 2021.
