James Troisi is an experienced emergency medical services educator and law enforcement professional with over 35 years of provider experience and nearly 30 years as an educator. Currently serving as adjunct faculty at Essex County Police Academy and as an EMT instructor/evaluator with the NJ Department of Health - Office of EMS, James develops and facilitates training programs for emergency service personnel. Additionally, James holds positions as an auditor for the American Correctional Association, executive board member and education chairperson for the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police, and advisory board member for Recovery Centers of America. Previous roles include lieutenant and bureau commander at Essex County DOC and chief of West Orange First Aid Squad. James holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has completed specialized training at Essex County Police Academy.
