Lorena P. Singer

Lorena P. Singer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of policing, corrections, and program management. Serving as Assistant Director at the National Policing Institute since January 2019, Lorena also holds the position of Auditor at the American Correctional Association since May 2006. Previously, Lorena acted as the Interim Director for International Programs at the Police Foundation and has worked as an Independent Consultant for various organizations. Additionally, Lorena served as a PREA Auditor with the PREA Resource Center and provided expertise as a Corrections Advisor for OLGOONIK TECHNICAL SERVICES, LLC, contributing to the US Department of State INL program in Mexico. Entrepreneurial experience includes co-owning You Can!! Segway HT from January 2006 to January 2017. Lorena's earlier roles encompass serving as a representative for América Latina at CALEA and working as an Accreditation Coordinator for the City of Las Vegas. Lorenan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
