Joanie Ferguson

Joanie Ferguson is an experienced musician and accompanist with a focus on dance. Since 2006, Joanie has served as the Emory Dance Department Accompanist and has held similar roles at Agnes Scott College and Emory University, specializing in drums and percussion for Modern, Jazz, and Improvisation dance classes. Additionally, Joanie has contributed as a Dance Accompanist and Composer for the American Dance Festival since June 2015. Joanie's background also includes participation in the American College Dance Association as an accompanist in March 2014 and previous experience as a drummer, singer, and songwriter with Acoustic Encouragement/Positive Music from 2010 to 2013. Prior to these roles, Joanie was the Director of Sales and Client Relations at Avatar Events Group from 1998 to 2006.
