Kristin S. Anderson

Managing Editor, American Educational Research Journal at American Educational Research Association

Kristin S. Anderson serves as the Managing Editor for the American Educational Research Journal, the flagship publication of the American Educational Research Association, since July 2019, overseeing nearly 1,000 manuscript submissions annually. In parallel, Kristin has held various positions at Vanderbilt Peabody College since September 2010, including roles focused on fostering global partnerships, supporting research initiatives, and managing administrative functions for partnerships with the Abu Dhabi government. Previous experience includes working as a Special Assistant to the Dean of Students at Zayed University, serving as a U.S. Student Fulbright Scholar, and planning programming at the Middle East Institute. Kristin holds a Master’s degree in International Education Policy and Management from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Middle East Studies, and Latin American Studies from St. Olaf College.
