Chad Briggs

Chad Briggs is a seasoned professional in right-of-way management and contract negotiation, currently serving as the Transmission ROW Lead Agent and Project Management Professional at American Electric Power since August 2022. Previously, Chad worked at Briggs Resources, LLC, overseeing lease acquisition and divestiture activities while specializing in data management and market analysis. Chad's experience includes a role as a Landman at Devon Energy, where responsibilities encompassed managing landowner relationships and negotiating agreements. An alumnus of the University of Tulsa with a BSBA in Energy Management, Chad's leadership was demonstrated during tenure as Vice President of the student association. Additionally, Chad served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, providing valuable leadership skills and experience.
