Ted Faust

Ted Faust is an experienced Senior UX Design Strategist currently at American Electric Power, with a robust background in UX design and strategy developed through roles such as Postdoctoral Fellow in Design Strategy at the Siebel Center for Design and Contract UX Designer at Pixo. Ted possesses a comprehensive skill set in user research, stakeholder engagement, and creating effective learning experiences, honed over years of managing design teams, leading discovery processes, and mentoring in academic settings. Extensive experience in graphic design and content management was gained during tenure at CMT Ventures, Inc., as well as in various roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Ted oversaw event logistics and journal production. Ted holds a PhD in Communication and Media Studies and a BA in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
