Chris Pokorny

Chris Pokorny has a diverse and extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Their most recent role is the Director of Procurement at American Equipment Holdings, where they are responsible for driving continuous improvement and unifying procurement practices across all branches. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing and Procurement at AZP, managing a team and improving SOPs to decrease employee process time. Chris also worked as a Global Supplier Manager at Woodward, Inc., where they led commercial and contractual management for the global supply base and achieved significant improvements in on-time deliveries, quality rates, and costs. Before that, they were the Senior Procurement Manager at Xylem Water & Wastewater, driving cost reductions and establishing efficient tracking systems. Chris also has experience as a Supply Chain Manager at Fairchild Industries and held various supply chain roles at CATERPILLAR (JV) - ADVANCED FILTRATION SYSTEMS. Chris started their career as an Account Manager at W.W. Grainger, where they managed client relationships and exceeded sales targets. Throughout their career, Chris has consistently delivered results and demonstrated leadership in optimizing procurement processes and achieving cost savings.

Chris Pokorny has a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Rockford University. They also possess a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
