Benjamin Kleene

Benjamin Kleene has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. Benjamin is currently a Budget Manager at American Equity since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Athene as a Senior Finance Manager from January 2011 to April 2021. Benjamin also worked as a Contractor in the Risk Control Group at FBL Financial Group, Inc. from October 2010 to January 2011. Benjamin started their career at Perkins & Co, where they held roles as Audit Senior from July 2008 to September 2010, and as Audit Staff from January 2006 to June 2008.

Benjamin Kleene completed their education with a Bachelor of Music Education (BME) degree from the University of Northern Iowa, where they studied Music Education from 1994 to 1999. Later, they pursued further education at Portland State University, completing a degree in Accounting with a Post Bachelor of Arts and Certificates (PBAC) from 2003 to 2005.
