Ted Johnson

Ted Johnson has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Ted served as the Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer at American Equity from June 2012 to present. Prior to that, they worked at American Equity as the Vice President - Controller from August 2001 to June 2012. Before joining American Equity, Ted worked at EY as a Senior Manager from September 1992 to July 2001.

Ted Johnson attended The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, Ted obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Iowa Society of CPAs in February 1993.
