Mingju S.

Mingju S. has over 16 years of experience in data engineering and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Vice President of Data and AI at American Family Insurance since September 2007. In this role, Mingju leads the Data and AI Office, overseeing centralized Data Engineering, Governance, and AI/ML initiatives. Prior positions at American Family Insurance include Associate Vice President of Data Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed leading a multidisciplinary team, and Director of Data Science Engineering, focusing on building a leading data engineering team. Additional experience includes a Data Analysis Manager role managing data engineers and an Enterprise Solution Architect role responsible for developing a significant big data project. Prior to American Family Insurance, Mingju held positions at US Bank and Discover Financial Services as a Java Architect. Mingju holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Aided Process Planning from the National University of Singapore and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
