Neil Block

Neil Block has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Neil started their career as a Contract Writer and Intern at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy in 2002. Neil then became an IT Manager at Ken Stillwell Ford Lincoln Mercury from 2005 to 2007. After that, Neil worked in sales at Bentley Motors for a short period of time.

In 2008, Neil joined Echo Global Logistics and held multiple roles, including Sales and Account Management, Sales Manager, Analyst in Sales Operations, and Manager of Truckload Solutions. During their time at Echo Global Logistics, Neil managed teams, developed market pricing strategies, implemented Salesforce, and contributed to sales analysis and strategy.

In 2016, Neil co-founded Hostkeeping, a short-term rental management company. Neil also worked as a Sales Operations Manager at Fooda from 2017 to 2019. Neil then went on to co-found AMENITY in 2019 and served as a Co-Founder until 2021.

From 2020 to 2023, Neil was the Vice President of Finance & Data at Leaf Trade, a leading wholesale cannabis marketplace. Neil was responsible for financial management and data analysis.

Most recently, Neil has taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer at American Financial Management, starting in October 2023.

Neil Block attended Hillsdale College from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in the Political Science program with an emphasis in Economics and Western Thought. Prior to that, they studied at Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy from 1999 to 2003. In terms of certifications, Neil Block obtained a Tableau Desktop 9 Qualified Associate certification from Tableau Software in 2015.
