James Bock

James Bock has extensive experience in information systems and security. James started their career at Key Energy Services in 2004 as an iSeries Administrator, where they monitored system logs, maintained disk space utilization, and secured production databases. In 2008, they joined Murphy Oil as a Lead Systems Administrator and worked closely with overseas operations for JDEdwards and EMC electronic content management systems. James then moved to Murphy Oil USA, Inc. in 2013 as a Database Administrator, utilizing their expertise in IBM i platforms and project management. Most recently, in 2018, they joined American First Finance as the Information Systems Director and Director of Information Systems and Security.

James Bock obtained their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Carrington University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications, including MCP: Certified Professional and MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration, both obtained in June 2017. James also possesses an ITIL certification, although the institution and exact date of obtaining it are unknown.
