David Midkiff

David Midkiff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and operations within the manufacturing and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Director for the American Forest Foundation since August 2022, David also contributes as a board member for MyMichigan Health, the largest health employer in Midland, Michigan. Previously, David was a graduate student at Michigan State University, where collaboration with Dr. David Skole, a Nobel Prize laureate, contributed to expertise in ecosystem services. David's career includes significant roles as Director of Manufacturing at Corteva Agriscience, overseeing a major global manufacturing site, and a long tenure at Dow in various technical and leadership positions. Academically, David holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master's certification in Forest Carbon and Climate from Michigan State University.
