Elizabeth Vranas

Director, Business Analysis, Family Forest Carbon Program at American Forest Foundation

Elizabeth Vranas has extensive experience in environmental conservation and project management, currently serving as the Director of Business Analysis for the Family Forest Carbon Program at the American Forest Foundation since April 2018. In this role, Elizabeth leads a team dedicated to business intelligence, analytics, and process improvement. Previous positions include Director of National Implementation of the Family Forest Carbon Program, Senior Manager of Carbon Project Development, and Family Forest Carbon Program Manager, where Elizabeth focused on scaling initiatives and enhancing support for family forest owners. Prior to joining the American Forest Foundation, Elizabeth held roles at IFAW, managing major gifts fundraising and donor relations, and worked as a Research Project Manager contracted by the University of Notre Dame. Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Thought and Practice and Philosophy from the University of Virginia. Additionally, Elizabeth participated in an undergraduate exchange at The University of Queensland.
