Renee Cruz, MPH, has a diverse professional background in various healthcare organizations and government agencies. Renee most recently served as the Global Project Delivery Manager at Michelin since November 2019. Previously, Renee held the role of Vice President, National Programs at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention starting in March 2021. From August 2017 to November 2020, they worked as the Executive Director of Program Delivery & Process Quality at Mission Health. Prior to that, Renee held senior roles at North Carolina Government - Medicaid (MCO) and the State of Ohio - Medicaid Dept - Chief Strategy Office/Project Management Office. Renee also gained experience as a Program Manager at The Ohio State Medical Center and Regional Clinical Service Manager at the State of Ohio - Division of Disability Determination, Rehabilitation Services Commission. Renee's early career included roles at Valley HealthCare Systems and West Virginia University Hospitals. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, program delivery, and strategic operations within the healthcare industry.

Renee Cruz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Psychology from West Virginia University in 2006. Renee later pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) from The Ohio State University, completing it in 2012. Additionally, they were a McNair Scholar at West Virginia University, which focused on increasing graduate degree awards for underrepresented segments of society. Renee Cruz has also obtained various certifications in fields such as Adaptive Program Management, Business Relationship Management, Emotional Intelligence Training, IT Management Skills, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Portfolio Management, Project Management, Strategic Thinking, and Agile Certification.
