Daniel T. Kim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Daniel T. started their career as a Senior Program Associate at The Durfee Foundation from July 2007 to June 2011. Daniel T. then worked as an MBA Consultant at Kellogg Company for a short period from March 2012 to April 2012. Following this, they interned as a Graduate Management Associate in Marketing at Toyota from May 2012 to August 2012.

Daniel then entered the retail industry and joined Sears Holdings Corporation in August 2013. Daniel T. held multiple positions at Sears, including Senior Leadership Program Associate, Senior Manager - Mobile and Digital Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing Director - Shop Your Way, and Director - Mobile and Digital Marketing Strategy. Daniel T. worked on various projects and initiatives, such as developing mobile marketing strategies, managing targeted programmatic display channels, implementing app-exclusive promotions, and launching personalized pricing platforms. Daniel T. left Sears Holdings Corporation in December 2017.

In 2018, Daniel joined Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. as the Director of Digital Marketing and was later promoted to Senior Director, Marketing. Daniel T. oversaw marketing for the company and managed the marketing efforts for home appliances, hardware, tools, and lawn and garden equipment. Daniel T. left the company in October 2019.

In October 2019, Daniel joined Sears Outlet Stores, LLC as the Senior Director, Marketing. However, their tenure was short-lived as they moved on to their next role in February 2020.

Currently, Daniel works as the Divisional Vice President - Marketing at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance, starting from February 2020.

Daniel T. Kim completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at UCLA from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, they also attended the UCLA Center for American Politics and Public Policy. Daniel T. then pursued further education at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and General Management from 2011 to 2013. In 2009 and 2010, they participated in the Riordan Fellows Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
