Michelle Nostheide

Michelle Nostheide has a strong background in non-profit organizations, particularly in the areas of health and mental health. Michelle recently served as the Executive Director for the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in Richmond, starting in March 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Communications at the American Heart Association, starting in October 2005. From May 1999 to May 2004, Michelle worked as the Director of Public Education and Media Relations at the National Mental Health Association.

Michelle Nostheide obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Tech in 1996. Michelle then pursued further education and completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) in Social Work Policy, Planning and Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999.
