Leani García Torres

Leani García Torres is currently the Chief of Staff at the American Immigration Council. Prior to this role, Leani held positions such as Deputy Director at YPH Consulting LLC and Associate Director at New American Economy, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Leani also has experience in policy management at organizations such as Americas Society/Council of the Americas and Human Rights Watch. They hold a Master's degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach.
