Allison Belmont

Allison Belmont has a diverse work experience in research and education. Allison most recently worked at the American Institutes for Research as a Researcher, where they conducted evaluation and analysis of afterschool and expanded learning initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at the same organization, providing analytical and administrative support to the Nevada Department of Education.

Before joining the American Institutes for Research, Allison worked at the University of Pittsburgh as a Data Manager, where they managed data organization and processing tasks for longitudinal studies. Allison also served as a Research Data Specialist at the university, conducting data collection and collaborating on studying the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescents' mental health and wellbeing.

Allison's earlier experiences include working as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Technische Universität München, where they edited research manuscripts and prepared presentations. Allison also gained experience as an Administrative Data Division Research Intern at the National Center for Education Statistics, conducting quantitative and qualitative research using educational datasets.

In terms of education, Allison has experience as a Third Grade Teacher at Lusher Charter School and Lincoln Public Schools, where they developed lesson plans, delivered instruction, and utilized data to inform teaching.

Allison Belmont completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2005 to 2009. Allison then pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree with a focus on Research on Teaching and Learning at the Technical University of Munich from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Allison has obtained several certifications, including "Learning R" and "Learning the R Tidyverse" from LinkedIn in March 2021 and August 2019, respectively. Allison also holds a Teaching Certificate: Level 2, obtained from the Louisiana Department of Education in October 2016.
