Technical Project Associate at American Institutes for Research

Alyssa Finner, MSW, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Alyssa is currently working as a Technical Project Associate at the American Institutes for Research, a position they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Community Engagement Coordinator at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis from June 2020 to July 2022. From June 2019 to June 2020, Alyssa served as a HomeGrown STL Healing Policy Initiative Project Coordinator at Washington University in St. Louis. Alyssa also gained experience as a Research and Evaluation Practicum Student Intern at the Behavioral Health Network of Greater St. Louis from August 2019 to May 2020. Prior to that, Alyssa worked as a Practicum Student at THE SOULFISHER MINISTRIES from January 2019 to May 2019. Alyssa has also held research positions, including Research Assistant and Lab Technician at the University of Florida from January 2017 to July 2018, and MPACT Lab Research Assistant at UCF College of Sciences from January 2015 to May 2016. Alyssa's early experiences include working as a Mental Health Technician at Aspire Health Partners, Inc. from November 2013 to June 2014.

Alyssa Finner, MSW, completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) from Washington University in St. Louis. Alyssa specialized in Domestic Social and Economic Development during their enrollment from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Neuroscience from the University of Florida from 2016 to 2018. Alyssa began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
