Anja Kurki

Anja Kurki has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anja began their career in 1996 as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park. After completing their tenure there in 2001, they joined Vanderbilt University, Center for Mental Health Policy as a Research Associate. In 2004, Anja Kurki transitioned to the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where they held various roles throughout their time there. Anja started as a Research Analyst in 2004, eventually progressing to the position of Senior Research Analyst in 2007. In 2012, they were promoted to Principal Researcher, and in 2016, they became a Managing Researcher at AIR. Anja Kurki's expertise and experience in research and analysis are showcased in their career trajectory.

Anja Kurki completed their M.A. degree in Political Science with a focus on Evolutionary Game Theory at the University of Turku, from 1988 to 1993. Later, they pursued their Ph.D. in Political Science with a concentration in political economy, formal political theory, and methodology at the University of Maryland, starting in 1996 and completing it in 2001.
