Anja Kurki has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anja began their career in 1996 as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park. After completing their tenure there in 2001, they joined Vanderbilt University, Center for Mental Health Policy as a Research Associate. In 2004, Anja Kurki transitioned to the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where they held various roles throughout their time there. Anja started as a Research Analyst in 2004, eventually progressing to the position of Senior Research Analyst in 2007. In 2012, they were promoted to Principal Researcher, and in 2016, they became a Managing Researcher at AIR.
