Ann Middleton

Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Ann Middleton began their work experience in 2003 at the Academy for Educational Development, where they held various roles including Marketing and Communications Specialist, Program Associate, and Program Assistant. In 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant Intern at Matrix Public Health Consultants and as a Monitoring & Evaluation Intern at the Academy for Educational Development. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Consultant at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation. Ann then joined the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity at Yale University as a Research Associate from 2008 to 2011. In 2010, they were the Program Committee Chair at the Food and Nutrition Section of the American Public Health Association. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Evaluation Consultant at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Ann then became a Research Analyst at the same department from 2012 to 2014. Ann joined IMPAQ International in 2014, first as a Senior Research Analyst until 2017, and then as a Research Associate until 2022. Presently, they are a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, starting in 2022.

Ann Middleton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Social and Behavioral Science from the Yale School of Public Health from 2006 to 2008.
