Ashley Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2007, Ashley worked as a District Office Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives, assisting with event coordination and compiling press clippings. In 2007, Ashley also served as a Legislative Office Intern for the New York City Council, where they collaborated on policy memos, assisted with press event coordination, and handled general office tasks.

From 2007 to 2010, Ashley held roles in the New York State Assembly, first as a District Office Manager, performing general office administration and supervising schedules, and later as a Community Liaison, representing the Member at public events and serving as a liaison to the NYC Department of Education.

In 2011, Ashley interned at the New York City Office of Federal Affairs, attending Congressional committee hearings and accompanying staff members to meetings regarding federal budget appropriations. They also interned as an Interlibrary Loan Student Assistant at American University, where they processed borrowing and lending requests and provided statistical tutoring services. Additionally, Ashley worked as a Graduate Assistant at American University, collecting and summarizing research on childhood obesity and developing data sets for statistics courses.

Since 2012, Ashley has been with the American Institutes for Research, initially serving as a Research Associate before moving up to a Researcher role. They are currently employed as a Senior Researcher, contributing to research projects in their field.

Ashley Roberts received their Master of Public Policy degree in Social Policy from American University, from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they attained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (American Government and Politics) from Drew University, between 2003 and 2007. Ashley's education began at Watchung Hills Regional High School, where they completed their high school education from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in December 2018.
