Brandie Semma has accumulated extensive work experience in research and analysis roles. Brandie currently works as a Researcher for the American Institutes for Research, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Research Analyst for Arlington ISD from July 2020 to September 2021.

Brandie's previous experience includes various positions at Texas A&M University. From September 2017 to September 2020, they worked as a Researcher, conducting data analysis for college administration to inform decisions related to student access, success, retention, and graduation. Brandie also produced reports on various student factors such as retention and graduate rates.

Before joining Texas A&M, Brandie worked as a Researcher at the Texas A&M University Center for Teaching Excellence from June 2016 to June 2017. Brandie also held the role of Research Technician at the University of Michigan from February 2014 to August 2015.

Brandie further demonstrated their project management skills as a Project Manager at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from March 2012 to August 2015. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan for a brief period from January 2013 to June 2013.

Brandie Semma earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Brandie then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University, from 2015 to 2017. Brandie continued their education at Texas A&M University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology, completing their studies in 2020.
