Christian Evensen

Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Christian Evensen has a strong background in research and analysis. Christian currently holds the role of Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at IMPAQ International from January 2020 to February 2022. Christian also served as a Senior Associate at Abt Associates from October 2018 to January 2020. Their earlier experience includes working as a Principal Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) from February 2004 to July 2017, where they led and participated in various health services research projects. Before that, they served as a Research Health Analyst and Survey Specialist at RTI International from 1999 to 2004. Christian's early career involved teaching undergraduate courses as a Visiting Instructor at North Carolina State University from September 1997 to December 1999, where they designed curricula, delivered lectures, and assessed student performance.

Christian Evensen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Boston University in the years 1984 to 1988. Later, from 1991 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Sociology from North Carolina State University. Christian Evensen also earned a certification in Body Language for Leaders from LinkedIn in January 2019.
