Colleen Heberle has a diverse range of work experience. Colleen started their career as an Economic Development Intern with the City of Williamsburg, Virginia, where they worked on projects such as drafting a grant application and conducting research. Colleen then served as the Political Director for The StudentImpact, a non-partisan political action committee, where they focused on strengthening relations between students and residents in Williamsburg. Colleen also worked as a District Director for Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District, where they educated the public on environmental preservation and implemented conservation programs. Additionally, they were elected as the Class of 2018 Senator and Chairperson of the Student Life Committee at the College of William and Mary, where they wrote legislation and managed a budget. Colleen's research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at AidData, where they contributed to a sampling frame for surveys on development organizations and policy-makers, and as a Research Associate at Hart Research Associates. Recently, they joined the American Institutes for Research as a Research Assistant, providing support on projects related to education, health, and workforce development, including conducting site visits and interviews, data analysis, and report writing.

Colleen Heberle obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from William & Mary between the years 2014 and 2018.
