Connor Pennell has a diverse work experience history. Connor began their career as an After School Tutor at 826DC in November 2016 and worked there until May 2017. In April 2018, they served as the Media Director for Dave Robertson's State Representative campaign for a few months. From June 2018 to November 2018, they worked as an Intern and Volunteer Coordinator for Lori Trahan's U.S. Congress campaign. Connor then joined Wicked Cool for Kids as a Lead Teacher from June 2017 to August 2019. In January 2020, they became the Campaign Manager for Deb Busser's State Representative campaign, a role they held until November 2020. From April 2019 to December 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Political Science - UMass Lowell. Currently, they are employed as a Research Assistant in Education Statistics at the American Institutes for Research, starting in May 2021.

Connor Pennell attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish. Prior to that, they attended Middlesex Community College in 2017, studying History, Politics, and Global Studies. In 2016, Connor briefly attended The George Washington University Columbian College of Arts & Sciences, focusing on History.
