Corrin Pitluck has extensive experience in the education field. They worked as a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research from January 2015 onwards. Prior to that, Corrin was self-employed as an Education Consultant starting in January 1995. From December 2011 to July 2013, they worked as a Curriculum Consultant at Child Care Like Home. Additionally, Corrin worked as a Curriculum Designer/Project Lead at the Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies from April 2005 to June 2006.

Corrin Pitluck earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from UC San Diego, graduating in 1992. Later, from 1993 to 1994, Corrin obtained a Multiple Subjects Teaching Certification in Elementary Education and Teaching from Humboldt State University. Continuing their academic pursuits, Corrin attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Finally, Corrin completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction, graduating in 2010.
