Danielle Shaw Attaway has a diverse work experience in research and education. Danielle began their career in 2014 as an Instructional Assistant at Addison Central School District, where they provided targeted mathematics and behavioral instruction to a caseload of students and administered progress monitoring assessments.

In 2015, Danielle joined the American Institutes for Research as a Research Assistant. In this role, they conducted data collection and recruitment efforts for randomized control trials focused on behavioral and literacy interventions for children. Danielle collected and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data using software such as Stata and NVivo. Additionally, they supported the acquisition of multi-million dollar research projects through writing proposal sections and coordinating deadlines.
