Emily Melluso

Emily Melluso has a diverse work experience. Emily worked as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), where they applied their background in qualitative and quantitative research methods to support client proposals and projects. At Towson University, they were an Adjunct Faculty Instructor, teaching sociology courses and designing the curriculum. Emily also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), teaching Medical Sociology virtually after the COVID-19 pandemic. Emily also worked as a Data Analyst and Research Consultant at Columbia Jewish Congregation, where they developed a data management process and analyzed recorded interviews. Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at UMBC, as well as a Resident Assistant during their undergraduate years.

Emily Melluso earned a Master's degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Sociology from the same institution, completing their studies from 2013 to 2017.
