Senior Research Analyst at American Institutes for Research

Erol Barina is a Senior Research Analyst with experience in monitoring and evaluation roles. Erol began their career in 2015 as a Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at World Vision, where they supported the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant at IOM - UN Migration, contributing to monitoring and evaluation efforts. In 2020, they joined IMPAQ International as a Senior Research Analyst, providing technical assistance and support for evaluations and assessments. Most recently, they joined the American Institutes for Research in 2021 as a Senior Research Analyst, where they continue to provide technical assistance in monitoring and evaluation activities for USAID/BIH projects.

Erol Barina completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Sarajevo in 2010. Erol continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Psychology in 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Erol obtained a Professional Certification for Independent Work in Education from the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2015. Erol also completed two online courses on Machine Learning with Python and Data Analysis with Python from Coursera in October 2019 and August 2019 respectively.
