Iszy Hirschtritt Licht

Iszy Hirschtritt Licht has a diverse work experience in research, production management, teaching, and communications. In 2014, Iszy served as a Research Assistant at the Center for Forced Migration Studies at Northwestern University. In 2015, Iszy worked as a Short-term National Policy Assistant at Democratic Municipal Officials. In 2016, Iszy gained further experience as a Spring Committee Assistant at the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs and as a Data Assistant at Rob Paral and Associates. Iszy then worked as a Program Assistant at Northwestern University from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Iszy held the role of Staff Writer – Arts, Religion, and Culture at the Chicago Policy Review. Simultaneously, Iszy served as an Assistant Production Manager at the University of Chicago Public Policy Podcasts from 2018 to 2020. Iszy continued their professional journey by taking on the role of Communications & Outreach Intern at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning in 2019. They also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago from September to December 2019. Currently, Iszy is employed as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, starting in June 2021.

Iszy Hirschtritt Licht completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, Economics, and Spanish at Northwestern University from 2011 to 2015. Iszy later pursued a Masters in Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, graduating between 2018 and 2020.
