Jason Harlacher

Jason Harlacher's work experience includes a variety of roles in the education field. Jason is currently working as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, where they provide technical assistance and professional development for MTSS implementation in state departments, school districts, and local sites. Jason also serves as the Director of the MTSS Center and Co-Director of the Wyoming MTSS Center.

Prior to their current role, Jason worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver, teaching various subjects in education.

Jason has also worked as a Consultant at the Colorado Department of Education, where they provided support and guidance on educational matters. Jason Harlacher completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from Ohio University in the years 1995 to 1999. Jason then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in School Psychology at Utah State University from 2001 to 2005. After that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in School Psychology from the University of Oregon between 2005 and 2009.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jason Harlacher also holds several certifications. Jason received the Special Services Provider certification from the Colorado Department of Education in 2015. In 2014, they obtained the What Works Clearinghouse Group Design Standards Certification from the Institute of Education Sciences. Jason became a School-Wide Information System (SWIS) Facilitator through the University of Oregon in 2011. Lastly, they received the Certified DIBELS Trainer certification from Dynamic Measurement Group in 2007.
