Jennifer L. Bumble, PhD has a range of experience in the field of education and research. Jennifer L. currently holds the position of Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, where they started in March 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded Mapping Assets for Postschool Success in January 2020.

Jennifer also has academic experience, having served as an Assistant Professor of Special Education at The University of Kansas from August 2021 to March 2023, and as an Assistant Professor of Inclusive Education at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from May 2019 to August 2021.

Before their academic career, they worked as a Research Assistant and Competitive Employment Consultant at the Tennessee Works Partnership at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center from April 2013 to August 2015.

Jennifer L. Bumble, PhD, began their education journey in 2000 at Lindenwood University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Arts Management. Following this, they pursued further education at Vanderbilt University, earning a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Special Education in 2013. Jennifer later continued their studies at Vanderbilt and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Special Education, Research Methods, and Community Engagement in 2019.
