Senior Graphic Design Specialist at American Institutes for Research

Laura Browning has over 28 years of experience in the field of graphic design and visual storytelling. Laura began their career as an Assistant Art Director at Army Times Publishing Company in 1992. After working at the Baltimore Sun as a News Artist, where they were responsible for researching, reporting, writing, and creating information graphics, Laura started their own business called Squash Blossom Graphics in 2008. As a self-employed designer, they worked on various projects until joining General Dynamics Information Technology in 2011 as a Senior Designer. Laura then joined American Institutes for Research in 2012 as an Infographic Specialist and eventually moved up to the role of Senior Graphic Design Specialist in 2020. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated their expertise in creating visually compelling graphics and has consistently delivered high-quality work.

Laura Browning attended McLean High School from 1984 to 1988. Laura then pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication and Media Studies at East Tennessee State University from 1988 to 1992.
