Maggie Monrad has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maggie has held various roles in different organizations.
At the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Maggie worked as the Director of Corporate Communications. In this role, they led the day-to-day management of projects and campaigns involving AIR's corporate external channels. Maggie also oversaw the redesign and launch of AIR's corporate website. Additionally, Maggie served as the Senior Communications Manager & Digital Lead and the Interim Director of External Relations, where they managed AIR's external-facing channels, government relations, and provided strategic communications support. Maggie also led AIR's Corporate Communications team as a Senior Communications Specialist, developing and implementing traditional and digital communications campaigns. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications & Social Media Specialist, and a Research Associate at AIR.
Before joining AIR, Maggie worked at The Pennsylvania State University as a Research Assistant. During their time there, they contributed to project-centered work and conducted primary and secondary research for the Palmer Museum of Art and the Department of Art History. Maggie also scheduled museum tours and planned presentations and activities for the community.
