Melissa Scardaville

Melissa Scardaville has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa began their career at Sanctuary for Families as a Special Event and Volunteer Coordinator in 1998. Melissa then transitioned into the entertainment industry, working as a Show Editor for Guiding Light at Primedia from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, they joined ICF International as a Senior Associate, specializing in technical roles until 2014. Melissa also worked as an Instructor at Antioch University Midwest from 2012 to 2014. Melissa's current position is at American Institutes for Research, where they started as a Researcher in 2015 and has since advanced to the roles of Senior Researcher and currently Principal Researcher.

Melissa Scardaville received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Vassar College, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Following their undergraduate education, they pursued higher studies and obtained a PhD in Sociology from Emory University. Melissa Scardaville completed their doctoral degree from 2005 to 2011.
