Meredith Burnett has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Meredith began their career as a Territory Counselor at Shell in 1994 and then moved on to work as a Healthcare Representative at Pfizer from 1996 to 2000. Meredith then transitioned into academia and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they also served as an Assistant Professor at Florida International University from 2007 to 2012. Following that, they held various positions at George Washington University, including Visiting Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2013 and Assistant Teaching Professor from 2013 to 2014. Most recently, they have been working as an Assistant Professor at American University - Kogod School of Business since 2017. Throughout their academic career, Meredith has been actively involved in academic and research duties, including conducting data analysis, leading students in job analyses, and delivering presentations on study plans and findings. Continuing their educational journey, they then attended the University of Maryland from 2001 to 2006 where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Resources.
