Michelle Williams-Carroll

Michelle Williams-Carroll started their career in 2008 as a Secretary at Jackson State University. Michelle then progressed to become an Office Manager in the Housing & Residence Life department in 2015. In 2018, they became an Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life. In addition to these roles, Michelle also served as an Adjunct Instructor starting in 2014. Currently, Michelle works as a Project Associate at the American Institutes for Research, starting in 2023.

Michelle Williams-Carroll has a diverse education history. Michelle began their educational journey at Tougaloo College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Art. Following this, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Jackson State University and obtained another Bachelor's degree, this time in English. Seeking further qualifications, Michelle pursued a Master's degree in English at Fort Hays State University, which they achieved from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their studies, they returned to Jackson State University and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration in 2012. Michelle is currently enrolled at Jackson State University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, Higher Education, with anticipated completion in 2024.
