Okori C.

Okori C. has a diverse work experience starting from 2004. Okori began their career as a Teacher's Assistant at Sheppard Pratt, where they assisted in planning and implementing daily programs for emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually challenged students.

In 2007, they joined the Foundation School of Montgomery County as a Crisis Counselor.

After that, in 2009, they worked as a Social Service Intern at the Youth Rehabilitation Center. In this role, they established rapports, conducted interviews, and recommended interventions to maintain the safety of the residents.

From 2010 to 2013, Okori C. worked as a Research Associate with the American Institutes for Research. Okori provided on-site technical assistance to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and managed schedules and tasks for the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) for the System of Care Initiative.

In 2013, they took on the role of Research Associate/Web Development and Operational Manager, where they coordinated with project directors to develop, post, and monitor content on various websites. Okori also managed web-based TTA services such as webinars and blogging.

From 2014, Okori C. became a Project Technology Specialist at the American Institutes for Research, where they provided overall technology assistance to H&SD projects. Okori'sresponsibilities included developing and implementing webinars, virtual meetings, and pilots for technology-related projects.

Okori C. completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Morgan State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. After that, Okori pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Juveniles from the University of Baltimore, attending from 2007 to 2011.
