Rachel Blume

Rachel Blume has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at the same organization from July 2021 to April 2023. Rachel also gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Intern at the Chicago Justice Project from June 2020 to January 2021. Rachel further enhanced their skills as a Policy Research Intern at Advance Illinois from November 2019 to June 2020. Additionally, Rachel has interned as a Data Analytics Intern at the Philadelphia Department of Human Services from June to September 2019. Rachel was also a participant in the Bridging the Divide Public Service Leadership Program at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, from January to June 2019. Rachel started their professional career as a Research Intern at KJD Strategies, where they collaborated with the political fundraising team, managing donor portfolios, preparing briefing documents, and supporting donor outreach from June to December 2018. Furthermore, they worked as a Policy Fellow at Citizens for Joshua Gray from January to March 2018.

Rachel Blume earned a Bachelor's degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Public Policy (with honors) and History from the University of Chicago, where they studied from 2017 to 2021.
