Research Assistant at American Institutes for Research

Ronald Peña has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016, they served as a Grounds and Operations Management Intern at SPEAR MANAGEMENT GROUP, INC., where they researched and organized important documents, created training materials, and managed work orders. In 2018, they were a Community Outreach Liaison at the Latin American Student Organization. In 2020, they worked as an ESOL and Civics Teaching Assistant at Catholic Charities USA and as the Director of Community Relations at the Student Government Association of College of the Holy Cross. In 2021, Ronald took on multiple roles, including serving as a Project Consultant Intern at Visions Internships, an Americorps Volunteer, and a Resident Teacher at Nativity Preparatory School. Ronald developed curriculum, coached sports teams, coordinated community volunteer opportunities, and created marketing content. In 2022, Ronald worked as a Freelance Video Editor, utilizing various editing software to provide video editing services. Most recently, they became a Research Assistant at the American Institutes for Research in 2023.

Ronald Peña completed their high school education at Saint John's High School from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Ronald then pursued further studies at the College of the Holy Cross from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies. In 2019, Ronald briefly attended Universidad del Salvador for a course in International Diplomacy. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts certification from the College of the Holy Cross in May 2021.
