Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Samuel DeWitt's work experience begins in 2016 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they held the role of Associate Professor. In this position, they designed and implemented experimental surveys, communicated research findings at conferences, authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and led multiple research teams. In 2023, they joined the American Institutes for Research as a Senior Researcher.

Samuel DeWitt completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY, between the years 2006 and 2011. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Criminal Justice at Rutgers University - Newark, from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Samuel obtained a certification in Learning Airtable from LinkedIn in July 2023.
