Sarah Frazelle

Sarah Frazelle has a diverse work experience in the field of research and data analysis. Sarah currently serves as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Early Warning Indicator Systems & Multi-Tiered Systems of Support at the Puget Sound Education Service District from 2019 to 2023.

From 2012 to 2019, Sarah held the position of Senior Advisor and Research Analyst at Education Northwest, where they focused on implementing educational Early Warning Systems and providing technical assistance to schools, districts, and state departments of education. Sarah also led research-practitioner partnerships through REL Northwest to support equitable outcomes in graduation and adult success metrics.

Before their time at Education Northwest, Sarah worked as an Assistant Director at the Kansas City Area Education Research Consortium from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they contributed to the organization's growth by designing databases, developing program evaluation methodologies, and conducting statistical analyses. Sarah was also involved in grant writing, report writing, and data sharing agreements.

Sarah's career began in 2008 as a Research Analyst at the Institute for Policy & Social Research. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Kansas from 2007 to 2008. Overall, Sarah's work experience showcases their expertise in research, data analysis, and implementing educational initiatives.

Sarah Frazelle obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Central Missouri, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Sarah then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Kansas, attending from 2005 to 2007. Sarah furthered their education at the University of Kansas by obtaining a PhD in Public Administration, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
