Sarah Mossburg

Sarah Mossburg has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sarah began their career as a Clinical Nurse at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in 1998 and later worked as a Research Nurse and Clinical Research Coordinator at Georgetown University Medical Center. Sarah then joined Virginia Commonwealth University as Clinical Faculty and went on to become a Nurse Manager at VCU Health. Sarah also worked at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, where they served as a Master Preceptor/Educator, Director of Professional Practice, and Clinical Specialist. Sarah held the role of Clinical Instructor at George Washington University and Adjunct Faculty at Marymount University. Sarah's experience in the healthcare sector continued with roles as a Staff Nurse at Virginia Hospital Center and Informatics Analyst at Inova Health System. Most recently, they have been working at American Institutes for Research as a Researcher, and currently as a Senior Researcher.

Sarah Mossburg completed their education in chronological order. Sarah first attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science. Following this, they pursued further studies at Georgetown University from 2000 to 2003, earning a Master of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Finally, from 2015 to 2018, Sarah attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nursing.
